QA Engineer _ DevExpress _ US Client _ Day Shift
Position Description:
Overview: Creating, conducting software validation test cases and then compiling full QA documentation of software cycle validation utilizing a mix of automated and manual test platforms. Environment includes rapidly interacting software versions with expert end User feedback.
Details:
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for WinForms applications built using the DevExpress framework.
• Perform manual testing of WinForms applications to identify software defects, user interface issues, and functional inconsistencies.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate testing tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of application requirements and user stories.
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide inputs to improve the overall quality of the software.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems, and work closely with the development team to resolve them.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that resolved defects and new features do not introduce any new issues or regressions.
• Perform compatibility testing across different operating systems, browsers, and devices to ensure the application works as expected in various environments.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the quality and performance of the WinForms applications, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with the team to establish and maintain best practices, testing standards, and processes.
Experience:
Minimum:
• 5 Years total in software testing (including functional, unit, Integration testing)
• 5 years experience with 1 or more test case Management system
• 2 years in winform testing
• 1 year writing test cases using Visual Studio
• 2 years of automated testing platform
Preferred:
• 2 years DevExpress & DevExpress winform controls knowledge
• 2 years SmartBear TestComplete
• Azure Test Plans experience
Others:
• Excellent speaking, and writing skills are must.
• Ability to work within a team or independently.
• Takes ownership of tasks and sees them through to conclusion.
• Interested to work in a fast-paced and very technical software development environment.
• Should be able to work in US shift time.
